Here are ten different ways to beat stress: Mindfulness and meditation help us to practice keeping our mind in the present, instead of imagining hypothetical future dangers. Once you get used to meditation, you will find it to be an enjoyable state of mind, and your mind will be less fascinated by danger and disaster.

Letting go of blame

Whenever there is a problem, the temptation is to blame someone else or blame ourselves. Over time we get used to assigning blame, and it becomes our mindset. We get used to blaming the same people for the same problems, and blame becomes resentment.

Mind Prisons

We make ourselves unhappy by projecting our beliefs, our standards and our fantasies onto ourselves, other people and situations.  This is why we chase success and compare ourselves to others, making ourselves miserable in the process.
